Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of IndieCircle, operated by IndieCircle ("we", "us", or "our") at myindiecircle.com. By applying to or using IndieCircle, you agree to these Terms.
1. What IndieCircle Is
IndieCircle is a paid founder community built around small accountability pods — typically 4–6 founders per pod — at similar stages and in the same city. Membership includes:
- A private founder pod with weekly async or live check-ins
- A group chat channel (via Telegram) for your pod
- Optional in-person (IRL) meetups organized by members
We do not guarantee specific outcomes, introductions, or business results.
2. Eligibility
IndieCircle is open to independent founders and early-stage entrepreneurs. By applying, you confirm that:
- You are at least 18 years old
- You are applying with honest and accurate information
- You agree to abide by these Terms and community norms
3. Community Behavior
IndieCircle is a high-trust community. Members are expected to:
- Treat fellow members with respect — no harassment, hate speech, or personal attacks
- Not spam, promote, or solicit members without their consent
- Respect confidentiality — what's shared in a pod stays in the pod unless explicitly agreed otherwise
- Show up consistently and engage in good faith with their pod
We reserve the right to remove members who violate these standards.
4. Access & Paid Subscription
Access to IndieCircle is granted after application review and approval. Upon approval, you'll receive an email invitation to subscribe. Membership is billed on a monthly subscription basis at the rate stated at the time of your invitation. You may cancel your subscription at any time; access continues until the end of the current billing period.
5. Refund Policy
We do not offer refunds for partial months or unused time in a billing cycle. If you cancel, your membership remains active through the end of the period you've paid for. If you believe there was a billing error, contact us at olivier@myindiecircle.com and we'll review it promptly.
6. No Guarantees
IndieCircle does not guarantee any specific business outcomes, revenue, funding, or results from participation. The community and pod format are designed to be helpful, but success depends on many factors outside our control. Nothing shared by IndieCircle or its members constitutes professional legal, financial, or business advice.
7. Termination
You may cancel your membership at any time. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access — without refund — if you violate these Terms, engage in harmful behavior, or if we discontinue the service. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you in such cases.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, IndieCircle and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the service. Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 30 days prior to the claim.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, USA, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts located in Texas.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll update the effective date when we do. Continued use of IndieCircle after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
